This disclaimer applies to the site, the Stock Glitch course (the “Course”), our emails, the Queue The Fire blog and newsletter, and our videos. Please read it before you trade anything you learn from us.

1. Education only. Not financial advice.

Everything we publish is general education about how markets and trading setups work. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it isn’t a recommendation to buy or sell any futures contract, stock, crypto asset or other investment.

We don’t know your finances, your goals or how much risk you can handle, and nothing we publish takes them into account. Before you trade, think about whether it suits you, and talk to a licensed financial professional if you need personal advice.

J BRAVO is not registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the National Futures Association (NFA), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), FINRA or any state regulator as an investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, broker or futures commission merchant.

You make your own trading decisions, and you are responsible for them.

2. Trading risk

Trading is risky. You can lose money, and with futures or leveraged crypto you can lose more than you put in. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.

Futures (including NQ and MNQ)

Futures use leverage: a small deposit (margin) controls a much larger position, so small price moves make big gains or losses. On the Nasdaq-100 E-mini contract (NQ), every one-point move is worth $20 per contract. On the Micro contract (MNQ) it’s $2. A 100-point move against one NQ contract is a $2,000 loss, and the Nasdaq-100 can move that far in minutes.

  • You can lose all the money you deposit with your broker, and more.
  • If the market moves against you, your broker can ask for more money (a margin call) on short notice. If you don’t pay in time, your position can be closed at a loss, and you will owe any shortfall in your account.
  • Stop orders don’t guarantee your loss will stop where you set it. In a fast market or a price gap, your order can fill at a much worse price.
  • Micro contracts are smaller, but they carry the same kinds of risk.

Day trading

Morning setups mean quick decisions in fast markets. Commissions, fees and slippage add up and can turn winning trades into a losing month. Platforms, data feeds and internet connections can fail at the worst moment.

Crypto with leverage (bonus lessons)

Crypto trades around the clock and can move very fast. Leveraged crypto positions can be closed automatically (liquidated) with little warning. Crypto held on an exchange is not protected like a bank deposit, and some exchanges aren’t regulated in, or available to people in, the United States.

Prop firms

Some lessons explain prop (proprietary trading) firm evaluations. These firms charge fees and set strict rules, and you can lose the fee if you break a rule or miss a target. Read each firm’s terms yourself. We don’t run or control any prop firm.

3. Earnings and results

We don’t promise that you’ll make money, or any particular amount, from the Course or anything else we publish. Your results depend on your own decisions, discipline, practice, starting capital, costs and the market.

J BRAVO’s own results come from his own experience, capital and risk tolerance, and are not what a new student should expect.

J BRAVO may own or trade the markets and assets he talks about, including ones in the Course, the blog and his videos.

4. Testimonials and student results

  • The student results on this site are screenshots of what students posted or sent us: YouTube comments, emails and posts in the course community. The words and the figures are theirs, not ours. We don’t verify students’ brokerage accounts, and we don’t track what students earn.
  • We chose them because they show good results. They are not a random sample, and they may not represent the experience of other students.
  • Dollar amounts show that person’s result on that day or trade. Unless we say otherwise, they may be before commissions, fees and taxes, and they may not match that person’s overall results.
  • A testimonial is no guarantee of future performance or success.

5. Hypothetical and simulated performance

Some charts on this site and in the Course are illustrations. We draw them, animate them, or replay past market data to show how a setup looks and how a trade could have played out. They are not records of real trades.

The following statement applies to every hypothetical, simulated or back-tested result we show:

These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under-or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to these being shown.

Past performance, real or hypothetical, doesn’t guarantee future results.

6. Affiliate links and partners

Some links on this site and in the Course go to other companies’ products. If you buy through them, we may be paid. These are our relationships:

CompanyWhat it isWhat J BRAVO gets
ChartPrime Charting indicators, including the Bravo Kit (sold separately, not part of the Course) May pay us when you sign up or buy through our link
Bravo Scan Stock screener. This is our own product. We keep the subscription revenue.

Each of these companies is responsible for its own product, prices and terms. Read them before you sign up.

7. Accuracy of information

We try to keep everything accurate, but markets change quickly. Prices, rules, contract specifications, tools and examples can go out of date, and we can make mistakes. Blog posts, newsletters and videos include J BRAVO’s opinions and market commentary, which may be wrong. Check anything important with the original source (your broker, the exchange or the tool’s maker) before you rely on it.

8. No advisory relationship

Buying the Course, reading the site, joining the newsletter or sending the 1-on-1 form doesn’t make you a client of an adviser. Any 1-on-1 work happens only under a separate written agreement.

9. The notes on our pages, in full

Under our offers, student results and example charts we keep the note short and link here. These are the longer notes those places carried before, word for word:

  • Trading futures and leveraged crypto is risky, and you can lose more than you deposit. This is education, not financial advice. Past results don’t guarantee future results.
  • The student results shown are real; yours will depend on your effort, your experience and the market; no result is guaranteed.
  • Trading is risky and you can lose money. This is education, not financial advice.
  • Students’ own words and results. Yours will depend on your effort, your experience and the market; no result is guaranteed.
  • Hypothetical results: the CFTC Rule 4.41 statement in section 5 applies to the example trade charts on our pages (the home page’s example session and the course page’s drawn chart).
  • The chart in the first rule is an example session, drawn for teaching. Not a real trade.
  • The charts on this page are examples drawn in code: the kit’s real colours on made-up prices, not live data and not a trade. (The Tools page.)
  • This post is general education, not financial advice. Trading futures is risky, and you can lose more than you deposit. Past results don’t guarantee future results. (Every blog post.)
